In early September, we received an email from John, a client from Europe. He was very straightforward about his request: he needed around 3,000 men’s shirts for his upcoming e-commerce launch.
Step 1: Understanding the Requirements
We immediately scheduled a video call. During the meeting, John highlighted several key points:
- Clean, business-style design
- Breathable fabric that’s durable and easy to wash
- A wide size range from S to 3XL
- Most importantly: a slim fit that feels comfortable, not tight
After listening carefully, we suggested a few fabric options: a wrinkle-free cotton-poly blend, 100% combed cotton, and a cotton blend with slight stretch for added comfort.
Step 2: Sending Samples
To help him decide, we prepared three sample shirts from our collection:
- Wrinkle-free business shirt
- 100% cotton comfort shirt
- Stretch slim-fit shirt
A week later, John received the samples and quickly gave us feedback. He loved the third option—the stretch slim-fit—but thought the sleeves were a bit short and the collar could use more structure.
Step 3: Adjustments & Approval
Our pattern maker made the requested changes:
- Extended the sleeve length by 1.5 cm
- Reinforced the collar for a sharper, more structured look
- Adjusted the chest-to-waist ratio for a better fit tailored to the European market
We sent the revised sample back, and this time John was very satisfied. After trying it on, he said: “This is exactly the look I wanted.”
Step 4: Bulk Order Confirmation
With the sample approved, John confirmed his bulk order of 3,000 shirts in three colors—white, light blue, and navy—at a 4:3:3 ratio.
We arranged a clear production schedule covering cutting, sewing, pressing, quality control, and packaging. To keep him updated, we even shared short video clips at key stages of production.
Step 5: Delivery & Long-Term Partnership
Four weeks later, the first shipment was delivered on time. John sent us photos of his team proudly wearing the shirts, saying: “These shirts give us more confidence in our brand.”
Even better, he’s already planning his second order and is considering a matching suit collection.
👉 Every collaboration like this reminds us that each conversation, each sample, and each revision is not just business—it’s craftsmanship.
